Winners of the El Referente 2023 Awards
El Referente enthusiastically celebrated the 4th edition of its prestigious awards, where Clevergy stood out as the undisputed winner. The founders of this technology solution, Álvaro Pérez, Juan López and Beltrán Aznar, have managed to develop an application that integrates with energy utilities without the need for additional hardware. This service, powered by artificial intelligence, benefits not only companies but also customers, by providing detailed information to optimise their consumption and, therefore, save, thereby promoting efficiency and environmental sustainability.
In second place, we highlight Renaiss, whose technology revolutionises the deployment of sector-specific suites through standardised processes powered by artificial intelligence. Meanwhile, third place went to Vidext, a fully online production studio whose platform facilitates companies' digital transformation. It turns texts and documents into engaging videos in multiple languages in a matter of minutes. It is worth noting that the event was supported by renowned sponsors such as BStartup Banco Sabadell, Deloitte StartmeUp and the law firm RCD-DWF.
Among the finalist startups that presented their proposals to the investor community were: Flipflow, Legit.Health, Pullpo, Golfee, Doctomatic, Meeting Lawyers and Xeoris.
In addition, during the awards ceremony, El Referente presented the report corresponding to the Ranking of the 100 most innovative startups in Spain in 2023. This report, available free of charge on its website from today, highlights the 75 most promising startups selected from the 1,000 shortlisted from the Startup Ecosystem Database. These companies meet criteria such as being founded in Spain by at least one Spaniard, being no more than three years old, not having raised more than one million euros in investment, and having an innovative or disruptive component together with a scalable business model.
A jury made up of seven analysts from prestigious funds, such as Hyperion ups, Kibo Ventures, Swanlaab, Angels Capital, BStartup, TheVentureCity and Faraday Venture Partners, evaluated the presentations of the 150 shortlisted startups, thereby drawing up their own ranking of the 75 most innovative startups. The combination of these experts' scores created the third Ranking of the 100 most innovative startups in Spain in 2023. A remarkable achievement that reflects the vitality and innovation present in the Spanish entrepreneurial ecosystem.
