Battery management and product recommender
How's it going? Summer is here and, as we do every month, we bring you the latest developments in our solutions. Over the past month we have made great progress in battery management and in product recommendations for users.
Battery management
Last month we told you that we had incorporated basic battery management into the user apps (charge, discharge, stop), which we have now improved to enable automation and optimised management of these devices. All these new features are available for installations that use Huawei inverters integrated with Huawei OAuth.
This new feature allows you to remotely control your customers' batteries with the aim of optimising the energy of these storage devices based on the state of charge and the contracted tariff to increase savings.
Now you will be able to:
- Monitor the state of charge (SOC) in real time and over a given period.
- Set smart charging strategies and cost savings for your customers through dynamic battery control.
- Integration with user-oriented control panels and automation
- Centralised review of installations and schedules.
Battery management not only optimises their performance and profitability individually, but also represents the key step towards enabling demand flexibility through the joint management of these devices.
Product recommendations
Knowing your customers' consumption allows you to offer them new products or services so they can save even more. We already had recommendations for solar panels, batteries and aerothermal energy, but we have now added the possibility of adding other products for cooking, cleaning and climate control, to offer your customers products with greater energy efficiency. So, for example, you could offer your customers fridges or washing machines with better energy efficiency to users who have high consumption because of these appliances.
We have also added an option to recommend chargers for electric vehicles.
Energéticamente, our podcast
In the middle of last month we launched Energéticamente, a podcast in which we talk about energy with experts, innovators and industry leaders, sharing their experience and their vision from different angles. We have already released the first three episodes:
- Jorge González (Contigo Energía)
- Jaime Arbona and Gonzalo Lahera (Selectra)
- Jose Antonio González (Repsol)
You can watch or listen to Energéticamente on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcast or iVoox
