In this way, Datadis gathers the information of more than 29 million users who can consult their energy data through a single common channel, making it easier to manage and analyse their electricity consumption.

How Datadis works

Datadis acts as a gateway that connects to the databases of all the electricity distributors in the country. Users can access the platform and consult detailed information about their electricity consumption by hour, day, week or month. In addition, they can download this data, authorise third parties (such as utilities or energy consultants) to manage it, and compare actual consumption with contracted power, all from a simple and secure digital environment.

The consumption data is private and the property of the consumer, who can manage it and decide with whom to share it. In addition, the platform offers aggregated statistical reports of general interest, which are publicly accessible.

Users register with Datadis through the utility's own app, with the integration of the Datadis API that we have carried out. The platform's requirements for verifying that they are the holder of the contract and accessing the data are the DNI and the CUPS.
